UX Audit

BACKGROUND

True Religion is a renowned American fashion brand known for its premium denim and bold, trend-setting designs. Established in 2002, the brand has built a reputation for its high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive style, making it a favorite among fashion enthusiasts worldwide.

THE CHALLENGE

In recent years, True Religion has faced competition from younger brands and lost its popularity and relevance among young customers. Its outdated e-commerce experience and content led to slow sales and low retention.

THE GOAL

The client sought a comprehensive assessment of its user experience, content, and creatives across desktop, mobile, and app to improve the user journey and boost sales.

MY ROLE

Along with another UX designer, I conducted a thorough experience audit to identify key areas for usability improvement. We combined Google Analytics, heatmapping, usability tests, and industry best practices to inform recommendations to transform True Religion’s website and app redesign.

2. Accessibility Audit

THE PROCESS

I reviewed the website and app experience against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1, level AA) and conducted a test to ensure the shopping experience was friendly and accessible to all users, including those with disabilities.

This audit was conducted in manual testing on the True Religion website and app using VoiceOver, the native iOS screen reader.
